The sales report everyone wants and nobody has time to build
Every sales manager wants the same thing in the morning: how much we sold yesterday, how that compares, and who is behind. In most companies that number comes from a ritual. Someone exports from the ERP, pastes into the Excel sales report, fixes the formulas, and sends it — usually late, and usually only when they are not on holiday.
The data is already in the ERP. What is missing is the step between the data and the person who needs it. That is the step WizBI takes over.
What a daily sales report from WizBI looks like
You ask for it once, in plain language, and say when you want it. From then on it arrives in the same chat. No report to build, no file to update.
The same report can go to more than one person, each in the chat they use. Each reader sees only what their permissions allow; permissions are set by organisation, group and user.
Sales report by customer, agent, product or period
A sales report is rarely asked for the same way twice. With WizBI, a new cut is a new sentence, not a new report.
| Cut | What you type |
|---|---|
| By customer | "Top 20 customers this quarter, with the change from last quarter" |
| By agent | "Sales by agent this month, against each agent's target" |
| By product | "Which product families grew this year, and which shrank?" |
| By branch or region | "Sales by branch this week, against the same week last year" |
| By period | "Monthly sales for the last 24 months, as a chart" |
Answers come as a number, a chart, a table or an Excel file, whichever fits the question. Hebrew customer and item names stay as they are in your system.
Against target and against last year
Comparing to last year only needs the sales history, which the ERP already has. Targets are often somewhere else — a spreadsheet the sales manager keeps. WizBI can connect both and use them in one answer, so "sales against target" works even when the targets live in Excel and the sales in Priority.
You can also turn the comparison into an alert: "tell me if a week ends more than 15% below target". WizBI writes to you when it happens, not every day.
Sales analysis beyond the daily number
The daily report tells you where you stand. The useful questions usually come after it:
- "Which customers bought every month last year and have not ordered in 60 days?"
- "Which customers pay a different price for the same item?"
- "Gross margin by product family this quarter, against last quarter."
- "What did customer A buy less of this year?"
Each of these is one question in the chat, answered from your own data. The answer can be a list your sales team works from the same day.
Priority sales report, Excel or any other source
WizBI connects to the systems that hold your sales: Priority ERP (fully supported), SAP, SQL databases, Excel and CSV files, BigQuery and more, and one report can combine several of them. For Priority specifically, see Priority reports you can ask for in the chat.
If you already have a BI dashboard the team looks at every day, keep it. WizBI is for the report that should come to people in the chat, and for the follow-up question nobody built a dashboard for.
