The company runs on spreadsheets
The ERP holds the transactions. But the budget, the sales targets, the price list, the commission table and the forecast usually live in a spreadsheet — an Excel file on a shared drive or a Google Sheet that finance updates every month.
Getting an answer from them means opening the right file, finding the right tab, filtering, building a pivot table, and often matching it against an export from the ERP with a lookup formula. It works. It also takes the time of the one person who knows where everything is.
How it works
- Connect the files. Google Sheets, Excel and CSV files. WizBI also connects to SharePoint and Dropbox, where many of these files live.
- WizBI learns them. Sheet and column names, your item and customer names, your terms — in Hebrew or English.
- Your team asks in the chat. In plain language: no formulas, no pivot tables. The answer comes as a number, a table, a chart or an Excel file.
- Reports come by themselves. A weekly summary on schedule, or an alert when a figure crosses a line you set.
Spreadsheets together with your ERP
Most spreadsheet questions are really two-system questions. The target is in the sheet; the actual sales are in the ERP. The budget is in the sheet; the actual expenses are in the ERP. WizBI connects to both, so one question can draw on both — no export, no lookup formula.
| In the spreadsheet | In the ERP | The question |
|---|---|---|
| Sales targets per agent | Invoices | Who is above and below target this month? |
| Annual budget per department | Expenses | Which departments are over budget so far this year? |
| Commission table | Sales per agent | What is each agent's commission for the quarter? |
| Price list | Prices actually invoiced | Which customers are paying below the list price? |

Hebrew spreadsheets, right-to-left answers
Many Israeli spreadsheets are in Hebrew: Hebrew tab names, Hebrew column headers, Hebrew item and customer names. WizBI works in Hebrew, English and Portuguese, including Hebrew data. Tables come back right-to-left, and exported Excel and PDF files keep the Hebrew readable.
Not an Excel add-in — a brain over your files
WizBI is not an Excel add-in and not a formula helper. It does not run inside Excel and it does not write formulas for you. If what you need is help building a model or fixing a formula, a tool that works inside Excel is the better choice.
WizBI is a brain over your files and your systems. It answers questions about them in the chat and sends the answer back as a new Excel file. And when a spreadsheet routine repeats every week, we can build an automation around it on request — defined with you, running under the permissions you set, with every action logged.
The Excel file you receive in the chat is a new file, ready to open or forward.
Scheduled reports and security
Ask once in the chat — for example, budget against actual every Sunday at 08:00 — and it arrives on schedule as a message or an Excel or PDF file. You can also set threshold alerts, such as a message when a department passes 90% of its annual budget.
