Where monday.com reporting gets stuck
monday.com is very good at running the work: boards, items, statuses, owners, due dates. Its dashboards show what they were set up to show. The trouble starts with three kinds of questions.
- Questions across boards. Each team set up its boards its own way — different columns, different status labels. "Which projects are late, across everything we run?" means a dashboard someone has to set up for it, or opening several boards and comparing them by hand.
- Questions that need numbers from outside monday. The project is in monday, but the invoice is in the ERP and the budget is in a spreadsheet. A monday dashboard usually does not see them.
- Questions from people who are not in monday. The CEO or the finance manager wants one answer on the phone, not a login and a dashboard.
How AI for monday.com works
- Connect monday.com. An API token is enough. Nothing to install.
- WizBI learns your boards. Board and group names, columns, your status labels and your terms — what "stuck" or "waiting for customer" means in your company.
- Your team asks in the chat they already use. In plain language, in Hebrew or English. The answer comes from your boards, as a number, a table, a chart or an Excel file.
- It keeps working when nobody asks. A weekly project summary on Sunday at 08:00, or an alert when the number of overdue items crosses a line you set.
monday.com reports across boards
Because WizBI reads all the boards you connect, a question does not have to stay inside one of them. Typical questions:
| Team | Typical questions |
|---|---|
| Management | Status of all active projects in one table · which projects are behind · what was completed this week |
| Project managers | Overdue items by owner · items with no owner · what is due next week, across all boards |
| Sales (if your pipeline is on monday) | Deals by stage · deals expected to close this month · value of open deals by sales rep |
| Operations | Open requests by type · next week's installations or deliveries · load per team |
monday together with the ERP or a spreadsheet
This is where a chat question does what a monday dashboard usually does not. Projects and tasks live in monday; invoices, payments and costs live in the ERP; budgets and targets often live in a spreadsheet. WizBI connects all of them, so one question can draw on several.
- Projects marked done in monday that have not been invoiced in Priority yet.
- Hours or costs per project against the budget in a Google Sheet.
- Customers with open service tickets on a monday board who also have overdue invoices.
Looking for monday.com financial reports? The project status is on the boards, but the financial numbers usually sit in the ERP — Priority, for example. Asking across monday.com and Priority together is the practical way to get them.
A monday.com weekly summary, on schedule
Ask once in the chat and the report comes back on schedule — as a message or as an Excel or PDF file, in the same chat. For example: a project status summary every Sunday at 08:00, or a list of everything due this week every Monday morning.
You can also set threshold alerts: a message when overdue items on a board pass a number you choose, or when the value of open deals drops below a line.
WizBI next to monday.com dashboards
monday.com's dashboards are the right tool inside monday. If your team works in monday all day and wants a live visual view of its boards, use them.
WizBI is for a different moment: a question nobody built a widget for, a person who is not in monday, or an answer that needs data from outside monday. The two work side by side.
Keep monday for running the work. Use WizBI to ask about it — together with everything else you run.
Permissions and security
Each person sees only what their permissions allow, with the same permissions on WhatsApp, Teams and the web. Every question is logged and can be reviewed. Beyond answers, summaries and alerts, we build automations around your processes on request — each one defined with you, running under the permissions you set, every action logged.
