Where the finance team's week goes
Finance teams answer the same questions every week. Who owes us, and since when. What we have to pay this week. How the month is closing compared with last month. The CEO asks on WhatsApp, someone exports from the ERP, builds a pivot table and sends a screenshot back.
None of these questions is hard. They just take time, every time. WizBI answers them from the same data, in the chat, so the team spends its time on the decisions, not on the exports.
Accounts receivable aging report, on request or on schedule
An accounts receivable aging report splits open customer debt by how long it has been open — typically up to 30, 31–60, 61–90 and over 90 days. With WizBI you ask for it in one line, by customer, by sales agent or by branch, and compare it with last month.
Collection follow-up lists
Aging is the picture. The collection list is what the team works from: customers over 60 days, with the amount, the oldest open invoice, the last payment date and the responsible agent. WizBI builds it from the ERP whenever you ask, or every Sunday morning.
Invoices issued but not paid are another common request: "invoices issued last month that are still open, by customer".
The list arrives ready to work from. If your collection routine follows fixed steps, we can build an automation around it on request — defined with you, under the permissions you set, with every action logged.
Supplier payments due and a cash-flow view
On the other side: "what is due to suppliers this week and next week?" — by supplier, with due dates, from the open supplier invoices in your ERP.
Put the two sides together and you get a simple cash-flow view: customer invoices expected to be paid against supplier payments due, week by week. If you keep other figures in a spreadsheet — planned salaries, loans, bank balances — WizBI can draw on that file too, in the same answer.
This is a view of what is recorded in your systems, not a forecast model and not financial advice. It shows due dates, not when customers will actually pay.
Management finance reports, to the CFO, on schedule
Any of these can become a fixed report, sent to the CFO or to management as a message or an Excel or PDF file:
- Customer debt aging, every Sunday at 08:00.
- Supplier payments due in the coming two weeks, every Thursday.
- Monthly sales, gross margin and open debt, on the first of each month.
And alerts for what should not wait for the weekly report: a customer whose open debt crosses a line you set, or debt over 90 days that grows past a threshold.
Control: permissions, automations you define, a full log
You decide who has access and what runs. Beyond answers, reports and alerts, any automation around your finance processes is built on request and defined with you. Access: permissions are set by organisation, group and user, and apply the same way on every channel. Every question and every action is logged and can be reviewed.
WizBI reports what the data says. Accounting and tax decisions stay with your finance team and your advisers.
